Dr. Johnson completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. She remained at the University of Michigan and completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery after which she entered the US Navy and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Dr. Johnson spent time as a general dentist serving the Marines at the Recruit Depot of Parris Island in South Carolina and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Dr. Johnson returned home to complete advanced specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Johnson was acknowledged by her instructors with the John F. Corcoran award for her superior clinical and teaching abilities.
